The app
A map made for the night
Every place says first whether you can sleep there. Then come the services, the height limit, the coordinates and the sources.
The night first
Allowed, tolerated, daytime only or forbidden: the overnight status opens every place, with the date it was last confirmed.
Coordinates in one gesture
A long press on the map gives the point's coordinates, ready to copy in the format navigation apps understand.
Filters that matter
Place type, night allowed, water, dump point, electricity, toilets, and the height of your vehicle.
Our principles
Free, open and discreet
Free, with no ads
Every feature is free. The app shows no advertising, and we sell no data.
No trackers
No audience measurement, no advertising SDK, no third-party crash reporting. The app connects only to our own servers, in Germany. The details are in the privacy policy.
Works without a network
The places of France are stored on your device: search, filters and place pages answer where there is no signal. A place's photos and reviews load the first time you open it, then stay on the device.
Sources you can see
Places come from OpenStreetMap, French public datasets and the Lunaway community. Every place shows where each piece of information comes from, and under which licence.
A community without email
Ratings, reviews, photos, "still there?" confirmations and new places come from the people who travel. The account asks for no email, no phone number and no password.
Directions for your vehicle
In preparation: guidance that takes the height, width, length and weight of your vehicle into account, from OpenStreetMap and IGN data. Until then, Lunaway hands directions to the navigation app of your choice.

From Google Play, or from our F-Droid repository, in a version without any Google service.
Computer
The web app runs in a recent browser, on Windows, macOS or Linux, with nothing to install.
iPhone and iPad
The web app opens in Safari. A version for the App Store is planned.
